Project "AKSHARA" was established by the Akhand Bharat Vishwa Hindu Parirakshan Samiti, which believes that education is the only way to gain knowledge and culture. This Akshara project identifies children from families below the poverty line and provides them with the necessary books, school bags, stationery and clothes so that they can go to school and pursue education and take them to a higher level. We are moving forward with a firm resolve to establish schools under the auspices of the Akhand Bharat Vishwa Hindu Parirakshan Samiti and provide education to more children in the "Gurukul" system that existed in the past. By establishing schools under the auspices of ABVHPS and providing education to children from an early age in the Gurukulam style, we will provide them with a complete understanding of our culture and traditions. We will also be able to provide them with the mental fortitude required to live in the outside world and take on family responsibilities after they have received their education.
