Animal Protection
Animal Protection safeguards cows and other animals through rescue, treatment and lifelong care, reflecting the trust's commitment to compassion and dharmic responsibility toward all living beings. ABVHPS responds to cases of injured, abandoned or ill-treated animals, providing them with first aid, treatment, shelter or rehabilitation as needed. Awareness programs are also conducted to encourage humane behaviour and responsible care among communities.
Benefits
Things You Should Know
Animal Protection reduces suffering, prevents cruelty and inspires compassion in society, especially among children and youth. Supporting this service helps rescue, treat and rehabilitate animals while also strengthening legal and social awareness about their rights and welfare.
Activities under this initiative may include medical care for injured animals, arranging foster or permanent homes where possible and coordinating with authorities in cases of severe cruelty. Educational campaigns highlight the scriptural teachings on ahimsa and reverence for all living beings.
Volunteers can help by reporting distress cases, assisting in transport, supporting on-site care and spreading awareness in their localities. School and college students are encouraged to visit and learn how small acts of kindness can transform the lives of animals in need.
Donors may support medicines, feed, rescue transport and shelter for animals under this program. Continued support allows ABVHPS to respond quickly to emergencies and steadily build a more compassionate, dharmic society for all beings.
